Hazel Milne
Hazel holds a Hons.B.Diac.Degree from UNISA (1985), and had been actively involved in the Tourism Sector in Namibia since 1998. Since 2011, she had been driving Sustainable Tourism in Namibia, as the Program Coordinator of Eco Awards Namibia. She had been instrumental in the developing a system for Mutual Recognition amongst the many Sustainable Tourism Certification programs in Africa.
She regularly delivers guest lectures for students in the Tourism Faculties of UNAM. She is qualified and experienced as trainer, mentor and assessor for tourist guides in Namibia, and represented the Namibian tourism sector on the Council of the NQA (Namibian Qualifications Authority). Currently, she serves on the TWG of the NTA for the Review of National Tourist Guiding Qualifications.
