Reinhold Mangundu is an accomplished Foresight Practitioner hailing from Namibia, boasting an impressive track record of approximately six years in the field. His expertise lies in orchestrating participatory games designed to tackle the challenges posed by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His primary objective is to foster transformative environments that enable individuals and organizations to navigate the intricate web of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity that looms over our shared future.Reinhold's dedication to his craft has been widely recognized, as evidenced by his receipt of two prestigious international accolades: the ITRI Visionary Young Leaders Award in 2020 and the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Development Award in 2021. Beyond his role as a Foresight Practitioner, Reinhold is a multi-talented individual with a deep passion for both people and the planet.With a Master of Philosophy in Sustainable Development, Planning, and Management, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development, both obtained from the University of Stellenbosch (with honors), Reinhold Mangundu possesses a strong academic foundation. Additionally, he holds an Honors Degree in Regional and Rural Development from the Namibia University of Science and Technology.Reinhold's commitment to environmental causes is further exemplified by his leadership roles. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Namibian Environment and Wildlife Society, as well as the Strategic and Partnership Officer of the Namibian Youth Coalition on Climate Change. Furthermore, Reinhold is the driving force behind the RuralRevive Project: Building A Desert-Based Economy, where he acts as the Project Facilitator and coordinator.His involvement in the field of sustainability extends to his membership on the Sustainability, Research, and Innovation Congress Committee, solidifying his status as a dynamic and influential figure in the realm of sustainable development.
